Acts 2:17-18, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:" From some of the comments made on an article I wrote, Arise Sleeper! The Hour Is Upon Us, there are folks who do not see these things taking place or they feel that we have had these things all the time. That is true up to a point but we also are having a change in intensity and frequency which cannot be explained away. That article was not intended to be a glittery, happy-go-lucky type story. It was meant to wake up those who read it. Still, there are really good things going on now too. There IS hope for you and for this tired world. It's time to show you about the Father Who has told you these things from the beginning. 'I don't believe these are the last days', someone says. " And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh" Today God IS pouring out His Spirit. The rate of salvations in a single meeting is staggering. There are ministries in Africa, for instance, that have not just a million people showing up, but a MILLION asking Jesus into their hearts! One meeting! This is happening all over the world. Right now, the Lord is calling His children to get deeper into Him each day. If that is happening to you, pay attention! It will bless you beyond anything you can imagine. If, however, you say that you can't hear from God, then call out to Him in prayer. Seek Him diligently, passionately. He will answer you. Go to your Bible. Read and study. 'But it's so boring!' you say. 'All those begats are hard to read.' Yet when the Lord puts His love into your heart, amazingly, it is no longer boring. It becomes something that you cannot do without. There comes a hunger to find out so much more than you know now. But the first step will always be yours. God will not make you do anything. Seek Him with all your heart. He has been trying to talk to you all this time. Put your imagination to work. 'But the devil is in my imagination!' No, he is not! GOD provided you with that ability. Only if you allow unclean thoughts into your mind, does the devil have any say whatsoever. The imagination is a wonderful gift from God. It gives you pictures of things to come or that could be, IF you seek Him diligently. Come with me now to see what the power of God can do. We are in an unfamiliar country. Today, there is a preacher talking about Jesus on a stage just ahead of us. The meeting is huge! There are over 5 million folks here! It is outside because there was no facility available for so large a crowd. So many people are hungry for God's Word that through word of mouth this meeting has far outdistanced anything they had anticipated when they set the meeting up. The faces in the crowd are looking up, in great expectation, toward the platform where the preacher is speaking. The mass of people have the eager look of children waiting to see what wonderful thing a parent is giving them. Almost like Christmas. When the preacher asks if anyone wants to have Jesus in their heart, the flood, of people, is so large those who began the meeting do not know if they can handle it! This is more than what anyone could imagine! What a blessing of God. A true Harvest Time has come. After the prayer, the preacher announces that the Lord is present. Soon after, thousands of people fall to the ground in a wave. The Holy Ghost is here walking among us. The power of God is so strong that you practically can't breathe! You feel so incredible! Nothing has ever made you this energized before. Some folks talk about a warmth running through their bodies. Still others have an electric charge. In all cases, the feeling is so pleasant that none of you want it to stop. You suddenly get hungry for something. You want more of God, of that you are certain. Something has been missing all these years, even after you asked Jesus into your heart. With great joy, you suddenly know that this is like coming home. What a feeling! What power! The Hand of God has touched you.
Incredible, isn't it? Now let's go into a vision God is giving you. He has called you to do something. 'ME? I haven't been called to do anything for God. That is something preachers and pastors do, not me.' Still, you know in your heart that He is talking to you, gently urging you to do that special thing that only you can do. It was the reason you were born. Sometimes, it is an illusive dream. Other times, it can be clear as a bell. How do I know?
